Hammerhedz is a casual group of kids who love playing Warhammer 40k. We meet every Sunday at 4TK Gaming. We’re not a formal club—there’s no official membership, just a bunch of parents organising a fun time for our kids.

We play each Sunday in Colchester from 1 – 3pm.
We politely request that nobody just ‘shows up’ at the session without contacting us via the form below.
supervision & arrangements
We’re not a formal club. We don’t guarantee games, referee, or manage the kids in any way. We just facilitate table availability and take turns supervising so everyone gets some free time on Sundays.
While many of us are DBS checked, we don’t have a formal child-minding structure. You can leave your child at the club, but only after we’ve spoken and made it clear how we operate. It’s a courtesy, not an expectation. Each parent might need to take a turn supervising.
requirements
We’re not there to teach Warhammer 40k. Players should know the basics and ideally have completed Battle Honours at a Warhammer store or learned from an experienced player. All current players have a good grasp of the game and play independently, with only informal support available on the day.
While there’s no strict age limit, players must confidently run a 1000pt army and have a solid understanding of the rules. Hammerhedz is a space for playing, not learning from scratch—games need to be competitive and engaging for both players.
age group & fees
Our group typically ranges from 11-18 years old, though we can make exceptions. Just have a chat with us!
There’s a small charge of £2 per session to cover table booking fees.
Drinks and snacks are available at 4TK.
